The Ministry of Finance, with a circular to the state machine, is trying to deal with the phenomena of abuses it has found regarding the working hours, warning with disciplinary prosecutions the employees who beat the card of their absent colleagues. Special attention is paid to the heads of departments/services for inspections, with the ministry putting them before their responsibilities for the widespread abuse observed with the granting of a special leave of absence for up to two hours, which should have been granted only in exceptional cases. >
In particular, in the circular signed by the director of the Department of Public Administration and Personnel, Mrs. Elena Economidou Azina, the following suggestions are made to the heads of the services/departments:
