Various sectors of the economy, not just the tourism sector, may be affected by the Ukrainian crisis, according to a source in the Ministry of Tourism.
Recognizing the two breakaway regions of eastern Ukraine, the West, including the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom, have announced that they are working on economic sanctions against Russia.

“Various sectors of the economy, and not just the tourism sector, may be affected, depending on the sanctions to be decided and the duration of these sanctions,” said a State Department source.
