Cyprus is ready to create a corporate climate of cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean, said the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis.
In a post on twitter following a meeting Friday with an ExxonMobil representative in New York, the President wrote that he had an excellent meeting with ExxonMobil Senior Research and New Business Vice President Michael G. Cousins.

He referred to a fruitful exchange of views in the context of the excellent level of cooperation which will continue.
“I reiterated the efforts of the Cypriot Government to create a corporate climate of cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean, where companies can operate in a stable investment environment with transparency. “We agreed on the strategic importance of ExxonMobil's presence in the maritime zones of Cyprus”, the President wrote.
