Total sales of petroleum products reached 122,581 tons
During May 2023, total sales of petroleum products reached 122,581 tons, marking an increase of 1.4% compared to May 2022, according to data from the Statistical Service.
Specifically, an increase was recorded in the supply of oil to airplanes by 9.1%, as well as in the sales of heavy fuel oil by 328.8%, kerosene by 58%, asphalt by 40.4%, LPG by 9.5%, diesel by 5 .8% and gasoline by 4%.
In contrast, a 12.7% decrease was recorded in oil supplies to ships, as well as a 27.1% decrease in light fuel oil and heating oil sales by 0.9%.< /p>
With regard to sales from petrol stations in particular, they showed an increase of 4.3% to 56,144 tons.
According to the Statistical Service, the total sales of petroleum products during the month of May 2023 compared to April 2023 saw an increase of 16.2%. Indicatively, oil supplies to ships increased by 82.1% and to airplanes by 15.1%, sales of diesel by 16.5% and gasoline by 12.8%.
Total petroleum stocks at the end of May 2023 they decreased by 6.8% compared to the end of the previous month.
In the period January – May 2023, the total sales of petroleum products fell by 3.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
