A student of the 1st Grade of Gymnasium is hospitalized at the General Hospital of Paphos after he fell down a ladder at the school where he attends and it is alleged that he fell after being pushed by a classmate.
In his statements to KYPE, the First Officer of Secondary Education of Paphos, George Koutsidis, stated that the student, aged 13, fell yesterday from a staircase on the first floor of the school. He is said, he said, to have been pushed by a classmate.
Mr. Koutsidis stated that the student was admitted to the Department of Accidents and Emergencies of the General Hospital of Paphos. According to the doctor on duty, he suffered bruises on various parts of his body and was kept for further treatment, however, his health condition is out of danger.
He added that the school principal is expected to invite the parents of the two students to the school today, while the issue will be addressed by the provincial Education Office and referred to preliminary examinations that indicate the existence of differences between the students.
