Police found a total of 68 smoke bombs, in the possession of a 16-year-old, before the friendly football match between of the teams Aris Limassol – Olympiacos Piraeus, held in Limassol.
The 16-year-old was arrested for the apparent offenses of illegal possession of explosives, transporting a dangerous object into a sports field and offenses in violation of the Law on Violence on Stadiums .
After his arrest, he was taken to a Police Station, where he was taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
The Episkopi Police Station is investigating the case.
