The Turkish Cypriot newspaper “Avroupa” writes in today's article that the 20% increase in the prices of medicines that came into force in Turkey in the weekend has started to be applied in the occupied territories as well.
According to the report, transmitted by the Press and Information Office, 75% of the drugs in both private and “state” pharmacies in the occupied territories come from Turkey.
A statement issued yesterday by the Turkish Cypriot “pharmacists' association” states that those responsible for the increase in the price of medicines that will directly affect the citizens are the “competent”, who manage the health sector and medicines with “ephemeral solutions”.
