21-year-old handcuffed for the attack on a 17-year-old in Paphos

A 21-year-old man was arrested today by members of the Police, who was taken into custody for the purposes of police examinations, in relation to an investigated case of an attack on a 17-year-old, last Sunday, November 13, in Paphos.

 

According to the evidence under investigation and a complaint submitted to the Police, around 2.30 am on Sunday, in a building in Paphos, a 17-year-old boy was attacked by an unknown person. The young man was taken to the Paphos General Hospital, where it was found that he had been injured in the face. He received treatment and was discharged the next day.

From the tests carried out by members of the TAE Paphos, evidence emerged against the 21-year-old suspect. He was spotted around 4:00 this afternoon and arrested with a court warrant that had been issued against him, for the purpose of investigating the case.

The TAE of Paphos is continuing the examinations.
