The Permanent Criminal Court that met in Larnaca, sentenced a 23-year-old from Nicosia to 5 years in prison, after finding him guilty, in relation to a case involving the illegal possession of a controlled drug with the purpose of supplying other persons.
It is recalled that members of the National Security Agency in cooperation with members of the Road Accident Prevention Unit of the Police Headquarters, stopped for a check a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man, in the province of Larnaca.
Under investigation that followed inside the vehicle and nearby, four nylon packages containing cannabis with a total weight of four kilograms, as well as a plastic container containing four grams of cannabis, were found. in custody to facilitate investigations.
Also, members of the Larnaca Police Department, conducted a search pursuant to a court warrant, at the home of a 26-year-old man in Larnaca.
During the search, they also found several packages containing a total of 80 grams of cocaine and 160 grams of cannabis were seized. At the same time, four precision electronic scales, the sum of 36,750 euros, as well as a firearm were found.
