Under the sponsorship program, a budget of € 8 million will be allocated. Applications are submitted online and it is typical that in the first ten minutes a total of 2,000 applications were submitted. Beneficiaries for the Plan concerning the purchase of a new or used electric vehicle are both individuals and professionals and legal entities.
In addition, in the case of both the purchase of a new and the purchase of a used electric vehicle, the applicant may, if he so wishes, withdraw an old vehicle, older than 12 years, and receive an additional sponsorship of € 1,000.
Finally, it is noted that once the application is pre-approved, the beneficiary has a time limit of two months in order to provide proof of order of the new / used electric vehicle and a time limit of 12 months for registration of the electric vehicle. The sponsorship is given with the registration of the vehicle, within 12 months from the pre-approval.
