4.3% annual increase in construction producer prices in the second quarter of 2023

Compared to the previous quarter, the index increased by 1.5%

Increase of 4.3% was noted by the producer price index in construction for the second quarter of 2023, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022, according to data published by the Statistics Office on Tuesday. The index stood at 135.03, with a base year (=100) of 2015.

Compared to the previous quarter, the index increased by 1.5%.

By type project, there was a 0.5% increase in buildings and an 18.9% increase in civil engineering projects in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022.
