The 5th National Youth Summit, organized by the Youth Organization, with the theme “Act with a Plan”, was successfully concluded. This year's Summit was held on Tuesday, November 19, at the Presidential Palace, within the framework of the National Youth Year, bringing together young people and youth representatives from all over Cyprus.
At the 5th National Youth Summit, participants had the unique opportunity to participate in an open discussion with the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, the Minister of Education, Dr. Athena Michaelidou, the Deputy Director of the Youth Organization, Ms. Maria Miltiadou, and the 2nd Vice President of the Cyprus Youth Council, Ms. Maria Diplarou. During the discussion, young people had the opportunity to openly express their expectations, concerns and suggestions, highlighting the priorities and issues that concern them, contributing to the formation of a vision for a better and more inclusive society.
In addition, ONEK Deputy Director Maria Miltiadou presented the Organization's action and our vision for youth, inspiring the participants for a future full of prospects and opportunities.
The young people had the opportunity to discuss and exchange views with state officials and to be informed about what has been achieved in the youth sector. At the same time, they submitted their own suggestions for addressing contemporary challenges, turning them into opportunities. At the same time, they discussed with policymakers as well as their peers, regarding the implementation of the new National Youth Strategy.

- Connecting the EU with Youth
The Summit offered a unique experience for young people who wish to play an active role in policy-making. In addition to the discussions, the event included interactive workshops, networking opportunities and exchange of views, creating an environment that will strengthen the future of youth in Cyprus.
