At the same time, the search operation continues by small patrols in the area of the breakwaters that exist on the coastal front of Oroklini.

It is recalled that yesterday Sunday, around 15.40 at noon, information was received that a 70-year-old woman was missing in the sea area east of the beach of Finikoudes in Larnaca.

The woman had gone to the area with a friendly person and at one in the afternoon, she entered the sea alone for swimming, but since then she has not given any sign of life.

The Larnaca Search and Rescue Coordination Center (KSED) immediately activated the National Special Search and Rescue Plan “NEARCHOS” and in the area were sent floating and flying means of the Port & Air Operations Unit of the Police, infantry patrols and thermal patrols. the woman's.
