Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will visit China this month accompanied by a delegation of 240 business representatives, including 90 from the agricultural sector, a senior foreign ministry official announced today.< /p>
Trade Promotion Secretary Daniel Fernandez said during a press conference that all ministries will be represented in the visit to Beijing and Shanghai from March 26 to 30.
The secretary of the ministry for Asia, the Pacific and Russia, Eduardo Samboia, said Brazil hopes to diversify its trade relations with China, the biggest customer for Brazil's exports, mainly soybeans and iron ore.
