From Friday night until Monday morning, works will be carried out on the streets of Nicosia and next weekend in Limassol. Works will follow in the tunnel of the highway between Limassol – Paphos
Specifically, as broadcast by the GTP, the Office of the District Engineer of Nicosia, Department of Public Works, announces that, on Friday 4/6/21 from 22:00 – 06:00 on Saturday morning, road repair works will be carried out on Spyros Kyprianou Avenue from its contribution with Konstantinoupoleos Street to the Tseriou Roundabout. During the execution of the works, the traffic lanes to the Tseriou Roundabout will be closed and the traffic will take place through Konstantinoupoleos Street towards Tseriou Avenue.
The same announcement states that on Sunday 6/6/21 from 06:00 – 18:00 road repair works will be carried out on Salaminos Avenue in Nicosia from its junction with Larnaca Avenue to its junction with Pouliou Kapota Avenue and that During the execution of the works, Salaminos Avenue will be closed in a section of approximately 400 meters long and the traffic will be circulated through the adjacent lanes.
Even from 05:00 on Saturday 04/06/2021 and until 05:00 on Monday 07/06/2021 on Makariou Avenue, from the lights of Lykavitos Police until the junction with Kalavryton Street, all traffic lanes will are closed due to replacement works of pipes of the Nicosia Sewerage Council.
Also, the Limassol District Engineering Office, Department of Public Works, announces that on Sunday 6/6/2021 and Sunday 13/6/2021 from 05:30 to 20:30, road maintenance works will be performed on Nikou & Despinas Pattihi Street in the section from its contribution with Arch. Makarios GD Avenue to its contribution with Spyros Kyprianou Avenue.
It further announces that in the period 7/6/2021 – 11/6/2021, between the hours 08:00 – 19:00, maintenance works will be carried out in the tunnel of the highway, in the direction of Limassol and in the period 14/6/2021 – 17/6/2021 in the direction of Paphos, from the Department of Electromechanical Services and that during the execution of the works the tunnel will be closed and the traffic before the tunnel of the highway, will be channeled to the opposite traffic stream which will operate with two-way traffic.
The Department of Public Works invites the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
