The Office of Civil Weddings in the Municipality of Geroskipou worked satisfactorily during the last months of 2021, according to Marina Polyviou, Head of the Office of Civil Weddings in Geroskipou, adding that in 2021 seven hundred and fifty weddings were performed, while 20 are satisfactory.
In her statements, Ms. Polyviou stated that until 31.12.21 in the Municipality of Geroskipou, seven hundred and fifty weddings were performed, expressing her satisfaction based on the data of the pandemic and the cancellations that took place last year. As for 2020, Ms. Polyviou noted that 256 civil weddings took place in the Municipality of Geroskipou.
Compared to 2022 so far, he said, seven hundred and forty weddings have been closed since the beginning of the year and bookings by the bride and groom continue. In addition, Ms. Polyviou stated that the Local Authority attaches great importance to the performance of civil weddings since they are a large revenue that flows into the Funds of the Municipality of Geroskipou.
