A 12-year-old child who was trying to cross Anavargou Avenue was injured on Friday afternoon while trying to cross Anavargou Avenue.
According to the Police, the incident happened on the 18 :00, when under circumstances that are being investigated the child was dragged by a passing vehicle.
He was taken to the Department of Accidents and Emergencies of the General Hospital of Paphos, where according to the doctor on duty he has a fractured jaw. He then underwent surgery and remained at the Paphos Hospital for further monitoring. The causes of the traffic accident are being investigated.
