He was spotted holding a screwdriver inside the building
In the context of investigating two cases of burglaries and thefts, the Police proceeded to arrest a person this morning.
This is a 37-year-old man years old, who was taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
According to the evidence under review, the above person on two different occasions (24-25/08/2024), appears to have broken into a specific property in Nicosia, which is under renovation.
An hour after midnight today, the 37-year-old was spotted by members of the Police inside the building, in possession of a screwdriver and a lantern, as a result of which he was arrested for the automatic offenses of illegal entry and possession of burglary tools.
The TAE of Nicosia continues the examinations.
