A 70-year-old pedestrian was abducted by a vehicle in Paphos

A 70-year-old pedestrian was injured when he was swept away by a vehicle late in the afternoon.

According to the Police, at 17:40 on Monday afternoon, a 39-year-old man who was driving his car on Andrea Tselepou Street and under the circumstances under investigation beat and injured a 70-year-old Greek Cypriot pedestrian who was crossing the street on foot.

The 70-year-old was injured and transported by ambulance to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital, where he was detained for further treatment.

According to the doctor on duty, his health condition is out of danger. The driver of the vehicle did not suffer anything.

The examinations for the provocation of the traffic are continued by the Paphos Traffic Police.
