The first humanitarian aid package for Ukraine departs from the port of Limassol. 14 containers with civil protection material and food. The ship departs in the afternoon for Thessaloniki and from there will arrive in Ukraine by the European Civil Protection Mechanism.
This is the largest shipment that Cyprus ever sends abroad. The coordination was done by the Citizen's Commissioner, the Civil Defense and the assistance of the Ports and National Guard authority for the collection and transport of the material.
