Five people were taken to the Paphos General Hospital, after being injured in a car accident that occurred at 20:45 on Friday night, in Paphos.
According to a representative of the Paphos Police Directorate , 21 years old, while driving his car on Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, in Kato Paphos, with a 24-year-old co-driver, a permanent resident of Paphos, at some point on the road, under investigated conditions, entered the opposite direction of traffic and collided with the car coming from the opposite direction. A 38-year-old woman from Paphos was driving, with her 12-year-old son as co-driver.
She then collided with another vehicle driven by a 19-year-old. All the occupants of the vehicles were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital.
The occupants of all three vehicles suffered minor injuries in various parts of their bodies. Due to the accident, there was a traffic jam on the main boulevard of Paphos.
Paphos Traffic Police is investigating the causes of the traffic accident in Paphos.
