In the last 24 hours, the Police proceeded to the complaints of 20 citizens and 8 owners or managers of premises, after 2,149 that they carried out nationwide, in order to verify the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Law on Insecurity.
As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated in KYPE, 644 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 11 citizens and 2 premises were reported, while in Limassol 182 checks were carried out, from which resulted in 4 complaints of citizens and 4 premises.
492 inspections were carried out in Larnaca and 3 citizens and 1 premises were reported, in Paphos 127 inspections were carried out, out of which 2 complaints of citizens and 1 premises were made, in Famagusta 323 inspections without complaint, while in the area of Morphou 194 inspections were carried out, also without any complaint.
Also, throughout Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 187 inspections, without any complaint.
