In the last 24 hours, the Police proceeded to the complaints of 20 citizens and 8 owners or managers of premises, after 2,149 that they carried out nationwide, in order to verify the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Law on Insecurity.

As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated in KYPE, 644 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 11 citizens and 2 premises were reported, while in Limassol 182 checks were carried out, from which resulted in 4 complaints of citizens and 4 premises.

492 inspections were carried out in Larnaca and 3 citizens and 1 premises were reported, in Paphos 127 inspections were carried out, out of which 2 complaints of citizens and 1 premises were made, in Famagusta 323 inspections without complaint, while in the area of ​​Morphou 194 inspections were carried out, also without any complaint.

Also, throughout Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 187 inspections, without any complaint.

One of the complaints was about a property in Larnaca where an extrajudicial fine of 1,500 euros was issued because the person in charge was working while he was positive for Covid-19.
