The CCCI is looking for a person to fill the position of European Programs Officer in the Department of European Affairs & Programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To manage and handle the European programs in which the CCCI participates To evaluate proposals for the participation of the CCCI in European programs To prepare budgets in relation to European programs in which the CCCI will participate To write and submit proposals on behalf of the CCCI at European Commission invitations To develop a network of collaborators both in Cyprus and abroad for participation in European programs To follow the relevant websites of the European Commission to identify calls for proposals for European programs To make suggestions to the Directorate of CCCI for programs that interest companies and in which the CCCI should participate To perform any other tasks assigned to him / her.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

University degree or equivalent in at least one of the following subjects or a combination of these: Economics, Business Administration, Law, European Studies, International Relations, Engineering or other related subject (Note: The term University degree covers a postgraduate degree diploma or title which will be considered as an additional qualification). Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language and ability to present the subjects that will be assigned to him / her in fluent oral and written texts. At least one year of experience in managing European projects. Experience in designing, concluding and managing public procurement. Knowledge and skills of handling social media. Digital skills and particularly good knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Basic knowledge & skills of using social media. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge and / or experience in matters of the acquis communautaire affecting companies. Dynamic and pleasant personality and ease in interpersonal relationships. Integrity of character, responsibility, teamwork, initiative and discretion. Clean criminal record.

EARNINGS:

Earnings are offered according to qualifications and experience, which include, among other things, a provident fund and a 13th salary.
