Developments are expected, as everything shows, in the case of the theft of a large number of bullets and cartridges from the container of a licensed gunsmith in Limassol. On Wednesday morning, the Limassol TAE secured evidence that a large number of bullets, of the same type and caliber as the stolen ones, were found in an open area in the Amathus area, according to the head of the Limassol TAE, Lefteris Kyriakou.
As he stated to politis.com.cy, in addition, a revolver, an airgun and other items were found. Regarding the bullets, Mr. Kyriakou said that a large number were identified and now they must be counted. Of those found, only the bullets are the product of the theft, which took place between 5 and 19 October.
It is recalled that a total of 200 cartridges were stolen, containing 50 thousand cartridges of shotguns, worth 11 thousand euros and 114 boxes containing 114,000 bullets of 9mm, worth 17,000 euros.
