The management company of the Agios Nikolas Group and former Rania, in Kato Paphos, expresses its regret regarding the statements and objections of those in charge and those involved in the events, which concern the housing conditions of refugees and asylum seekers.
In a new announcement, it states that they once again state that the housing conditions of their groups are of a very good level in every respect and “perhaps the best, offered throughout Cyprus to asylum seekers and refugees”.
They add that they are at the disposal of the authorities and are ready to do everything possible to solve “the only essential problem that exists, the disconnection of the Agios Nikolas complex from the water supply”.
The financial dispute, which has arisen between their company and the local authority, they add, has been inherited by the former owners of the premises and is before justice, which has the final and indisputable reason to rule on the matter.
The company also publicly states its desire for an immediate trial of the case and calls on the community council of Chloraka to instruct its lawyers to contact them together with their own lawyers to request a joint trial of the case.
The management company invites the competent services of the State, the Parliament and the Commissioner of Administration and Human Rights to enlighten them whether a company has the right to choose to rent or not to rent to its people based on their ethnic origin or social group.
Finally, they state that they have given instructions to their legal symbol for registering a lawsuit for libel.
