A quantity of olive oil was spilled on a road in Lakatamia

After the closure of the highway, a quantity of olive kernel was also spilled in Lakatamia.  

In its announcement, the Municipality of Lakatamia states that “due to a quantity of olive kernels that fell from a truck onto the road (from the Metro roundabout to Kapodistria street, through Ledra, Agios Mamas, Pediaio, Archangelos Michael, Agia Lavra and Akadimia streets), it has become slippery. We ask drivers to be particularly careful until the road is cleaned by the Municipality's crews”.

It should be recalled that the highway was closed for over three hours, despite the Pareklisia exit, in the direction of Nicosia,&nbsp ;due to the quantity of pitted olives on the road surface.
