The Police arrested a 26-year-old person today, in the context of investigating a case involving attempted murder and robbery.
Specifically, yesterday afternoon, information was received that around At 2:45 in the afternoon, a 43-year-old woman went to the First Aid department of the Nicosia General Hospital, who was seriously injured.
Members of the TAE Nicosia went to the hospital where they were informed by the doctor on duty that the 43-year-old woman had suffered a brain injury , a broken nose, as well as lacerations, bruises and abrasions.
According to the information under investigation, the 43-year-old was allegedly attacked by the 26-year-old, while two bags and other personal items were stolen, which she had in its possession at the time of the offense.
The 26-year-old was arrested today pursuant to a judicial arrest warrant, while an investigation, which is still ongoing at his home in Nicosia, has so far identified and seized various collateral related to the case, as well as a quantity of cocaine.
