    A Sunday morning dedicated to children, in view of World Children's Day, which is celebrated on June 1, was jointly organized by Limassol Traffic Police and the Limassol Traffic Safety Volunteers together with the Egophobia motorcycle club at the Laniteiou park, in Limassol.

    The organizers gave a beautiful breakfast to the children children with game, songs and dance. At the same time, the children received important information about road safety and accessibility for the disabled.

    At the event site, there was a traffic police park, an exhibition of motorcycles and motorcyclists' equipment, an exhibition of motorcycles and a Police patrol car, as well as a car that had previously been involved in a traffic collision, while volunteers from the rescue team also participated.

    The event is part of the prevention and reduction of serious and fatal traffic accidents, said the Head of Limassol Traffic Marios Charalambous. “We make efforts every day with various actions such as our today's event for enlightenment, in addition to the lectures we give every day in schools, camps and other organized bodies with companies,” said Mr. Charalambous.

    It included many activities for the children, such as games, face painting and construction, songs from the nursery school choirs, dances from the Dance School and demonstrations from the Cycling Academy, as well as a wheelchair basketball game.
