The health condition of the four-year-old is very critical, according to the General Director of the Ministry of Health, however the effort being made leaves a glimmer of hope.
Speaking on ANT1 TV , Christina Giannaki reported that at two in the afternoon a special flight with 6 doctors and a full team with a special extracorporeal circulation machine lands at Larnaca airport.
"This machine is our last hope" concluded.
Earlier in his statements, after the laying of the foundation stone by the President of the Republic for the first phase of the Athalassa Mental Health Center, the Minister of Health said that there is constant communication with the infectious disease specialist – pediatric intensivist from Israel, assuring that "if the child needs to go abroad, he will".
"The last information I have about the child is that his condition remains serious and critical", said Mr. Hatzipantela.
When asked if the doctor is expected from Israel again, he replied that the authorities are in contact with him, to note that his Ministry is sensitive to health issues for the whole world .
It is noted that the pediatric intensivist who visited and assessed the condition of the 4-year-old girl left for Israel at 23:00 last Monday.
