Lawyer Achilleas Dimitriadis was appointed by the Attorney General as a criminal investigator for the conduct of a criminal investigation in relation to the allegations made in the complaint of Anna Aristotelous and Athena Dimitriou.
As stated in a written Statement by the Attorney General:
Exercising my powers under paragraph (2) of Article 4 of the Law on Criminal Procedure, Chapter 155 and on the basis of a complaint submitted to my Office on Monday, June 20, 2022 by the Director of Central Prisons Ms. Anna Aristotelous and the Senior Officer Athena Dimitriou, I proceeded today, Monday, June 20, 2022, to the appointment of Mr. Achilleas Emilianidis, Lawyer, as a criminal investigator to conduct a criminal investigation in relation to the allegations made in the complaint of Messrs. Aristotle and Demetrius.

A Senior Police Officer, a person serving a prison sentence in Central Prison, and any other person in connection with the complaint as well as related issues related to what is contained in it.
The investigation should completed within one month.
