On the 11th Banking Forum & FinTech Expo was attended by Miltos Michaelas, CEO of Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd which took place on Thursday, December 7, at the Filoxenia Conference Center.
< p>In his speech, Mr. Michaelas focused on the future of the financial sector and the new data created by the digital transformation. As he pointed out, Banks are adopting modernized strategies that focus on enhancing profitability, more efficient operational practices, the green transition, the Customer-centric approach and addressing the challenges created by the expansion path of Fintech companies.
In fact, he emphasized that a third of the revenues that come from traditional banking transactions today will be displaced as a result of the new business model by 2025. Banks, Mr. Michaelas said, face this development based on the position they hold in the market and their size. They develop strategies that go beyond simply offering bundled products, focusing on digitalization, culture change and offering an enhanced model of services and products that meet today's holistic needs of Customers.
The 11th Banking Forum & FinTech Expo again this year attracted professionals from the financial sector, as well as representatives of the business community, who discussed the recovery path of the Banking sector, digital transformation and the modern needs of Customers.
