As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Marina of Ayia Napa supports the sporting activities of the region through sponsorships and practical support, always with the aim of empowering the local community through participation and sportsmanship.
In particular, Marina is a Prize Sponsor of the Charalambidis Christis Ayia Napa Youth Soccer Festival, which was established in 2001 and has evolved into the largest youth soccer event, not only in Cyprus but also in the wider region. It is also considered one of the largest events of its kind in Europe in proportion to the size and population of Cyprus.
The tournament, which is also held under the auspices of the Cyprus Football Federation, is organized from April 8 to 13 2023 at the sports facilities of the Municipality of Ayia Napa by the officially registered and recognized member of the KOA sports association SoccerWorldCyprus, with the support of the Municipality of Ayia Napa and other bodies, such as the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
Also the Marina of Ayia Napa granted for the second year in a row the “Run for Autism” road race, which took place on Sunday, April 2, 2023, as part of World Autism Awareness Day, starting at the Nissi Bay Beach Bar parking lot in the direction of Agia Thekla and back through the Ayia Napa Marina.
The Ayia Napa Marina is not only the most sought-after entertainment and dining destination on the island, it is also an integral part of the local community which it supports in every possible way.
