On 28/02/22 at 7.30 in the afternoon, during the football match at the Hermes Polemidion stadium in Polemidia, between the football teams of the Youth Centers of Agios Ioannis and Oras, (agricultural championship) A 25-year-old man who was playing with one team attacked and punched a 20-year-old football player in the face.
The 20-year-old, according to the Police, after being examined at the Limassol General Hospital, was found to have a fractured cheekbones and bones of the upper jaw.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 25-year-old, under which he was arrested yesterday afternoon and detained to facilitate the investigations.
