“Big delay” in the National Forest Park of Akamas, estimates Marinos Lambrou – The Mayor expresses great concern as he says there is no plan from the state
In the assessment that “great delay” has been observed in the Akama National Forest Park< /strong>, said the Mayor of Akamas Marinos Lambrou, adding that the park has remained closed for two years.
In his statements to KYPE, the Mr. Lambrou expressed “great concern” as, as he said, “so far, there is no plan from the state”. He also estimated that the road networks must be completed in order to it becomes easy to access all the apartments of the Municipality.
Request further information about compensations or compensatory measures regarding the properties where their owners do not have the right to develop, but also on the issue of water supply in agricultural and livestock areas of the Inias district.
Mr. Lambrou referred to issues he raised in a recent meeting with the President of the Environmental Movement, during his recent visit to the Municipality of Akamas and said that he will request information from the other political party leaders who will visit his Municipality at a later stage.
He also said that the newly established Municipality of Akamas does not face any operating problem, and everyone is “positive” with “an appetite for work”.
