Although last December the majority of the Parliament cut the relevant budget, the government, trying to mislead the parliament, changed the title of the relevant budget and included it in the supplementary Budget.
The government's illegal manipulation was canceled with an extraordinary amendment submitted today by AKEL in Plenary and which was supported by DIKO, EDEK, DIPA and Ecologists. The fund has been committed and the government will be called to account in Parliament for its action that offends the parliamentary institutions, but above all offends the historical memory of the Cypriot people. Once again, DISY and ELAM were left alone to defend the mastermind of the betrayal of our homeland.
