Alexis Georgoulis fell victim to online fraud, as he revealed through his personal account on Instagram.
Specifically, the former MEP and actor informed his online friends that he was a victim of astute men,who tried to exploit his name to make money.
As he revealed some people used his face for a money game, with him supposedly promoting it!

In the caption he wrote:“Today I was informed that my picture is circulating on the Internet, advertising a game with money and pretending to recommend it. This is a scam and I have never participated in any advertising of a money game or investment product on the internet and I have already started legal proceedings against those who have, without my consent, used my image to deceive the public.”
