Alfredo tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes

A classic pasta renewed with rich and creamy sauce with cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs!

MATERIALS:

250 gr. pasta tagliatelle La Molisana
30 gr. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic, melted
125 gr. Cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp. freshly chopped sage
1 pinch of red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
½ κ.γ. oregano
60 gr. whipping cream
30 gr. cream cheese
30 gr. grated Parmesan
10 gr. fresh basil leaves, finely chopped

IMPLEMENTATION:

1. In a pasta pot with plenty of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
2. Meanwhile, heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, sage, a pinch of red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cook until the tomatoes start to crack, for about 2-3 minutes.
3. Lower the heat to low and add the oregano. Cook for 1 minute and then add the cream and cream cheese. Stir until smooth. Let the sauce simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes. Finally, mix the parmesan. Put the pasta and basil in the pan and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat.
4. Divide the spaghetti into plates and finish with extra parsley, if desired.
