Also, President Anastasiadis instructed, within fortnight, to submit specific proposals to the Council of Ministers.
This was stated by Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos, after the meeting on the fight against fires that began around 19.00 and ended shortly before 10.00 and was attended by all relevant Ministries, Services and agencies of the Republic, as well as officials of the Local Local Government.

More specifically, Mr. Pelekanos said that an expenditure of 18 million euros is foreseen through the Fund and an additional 10 million euros through the state budgets.
“Attendees had the opportunity to submit their own proposals and suggestions and exchange views on specific issues,” he noted.
The Spokesman said that “specific measures have been taken to strengthen the framework for the prevention and response to these phenomena, such as, for example, the strengthening of communication methods between the Services, the upgrading of the volunteer institution, the strengthening of the prevention framework, the further exploitation technology, the tightening of the legal framework and the more immediate imposition of private means “.
