Police handcuffed a third person in the case of sending threatening and insulting messages against the Paphos police director, Nikos Pentaras.
Regarding the above investigated case, a 55-year-old man was arrested yesterday, Saturday (14/8) with a court order , to facilitate the investigations and after being charged in writing, he was released from detention to be summoned later.
Subsequently, as part of the investigations, two members of the Police, aged 41 , were arrested today with court warrants and were facilitated.
The first 41-year-old is being investigated for offenses of breach of professional secrecy, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, etc., while against the second, crimes of threat of violence, written threats, corruption, abuse of power, sending abusive and threatening insults are being investigated.
The Chief of Police is aware of the case , who is waiting for a report of events to study whether the two will be made available.
