An investigation by an independent legal advisor is underway against the former president of the Public Supervision Authority (ADEElep) and general accountant of the Republic, Reas Georgiou. According to information from “P”, the investigation against Ms. Georgiou was requested by other members of the board of directors of ADEElep after it was found that she failed to present to the board a list sent to her by the Association of Chartered Accountants (SELK) with the 46 audit offices presented unsatisfactory results in the SELK inspection base in one of its supervisory audits between the years 2017-2019.
This list also includes the office of AuditPro Services Ltd, in which Mrs. Georgiou's brother is a partner. The investigation was undertaken by an independent legal advisor with terms of mandate to investigate whether there was any intervention by Mrs. Georgiou so that this letter has not been brought before the plenary session of the BoD. of ADEElep.
