CIIM evolves into the University Limassol.

The Cabinet approved the University of Limassol (University of Limassol) document in the Register of Universities of Cyprus, after a relevant evaluation and certification by the Quality Assurance and Certification Body of of Higher Education (DIPAE).

The application for the establishment of the University of Limassol (UoL) was submitted by CIIM Innovations Ltd, owner of CIIM (Cyprus International Institute of Management), one of the oldest Business Schools based in Aglatzia in Nicosia and a branch in Limassol . The University of Limassol is an evolution of CIIM which has been offering internationally recognized postgraduate programs for more than 30 years and enjoys a special reputation in Cyprus and abroad.

The operation of the University is expected to start from September 2023 in temporary facilities in Nicosia and Limassol, with the securing of the initial operating license.

The University of Limassol will offer the ten postgraduate programs it already offers, both  in Nicosia as well as in Limassol, as well as three undergraduate programs in Limassol, in Business Administration, Finance and Informatics.

Information from SigmaLive states that a state-of-the-art University (Campus) is being developed in a semi-mountainous area of ​​the northern suburbs of Limassol overlooking the sea.

According to information, the University will initially operate with three Faculties: Management, Technology and Innovation, Finance & Finance, while a School of Law & of Social Sciences.

The CIIM Business School of the University of Limassol will have a Department of Management and will provide, among others  bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration (MBA), and a number of other master's degrees such as Public Administration,  the Green & Digital  Development, Training, Leadership & Administration, Human Resources Management, and Maritime.

The School of Technology and Innovation will have an Informatics Department that will also provide the opportunity to obtain a degree in Computing and Business Technologies, and postgraduate degrees in Business Intelligence  and Data Analytics, and in Computer Science & Business Technologies,  while the School of Economics and Finance will offer a bachelor's degree in Economics, and master's degrees in Financial Services  and  in Financial  Law and International Taxation.
