Garfield plays a Mormon detective investigating the brutal murder of a mother (Daisy Edgar) ) and her daughter from fundamentalist followers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“I'll take a break,” the Oscar – nominated actress said in a recent interview. “I have to redefine and reconsider what I want to do next, who I want to become and just become human for a while. “Because, as you know, this awards season was a bit of an emotional roller coaster.” However, he does not complain about the recognition: “I just have to live a more normal life”.
