Speaking to Happy Day a few days after the competition ended, Andrew Lambrou made several revelations about the health problem he faced before taking to the stage in Liverpool, as and for the messages they exchanged with the representative of Greece, Victor Vernicos.
“I am very grateful to have had this opportunity. Every day I did vocal exercises to relieve myself, to free myself physically and mentally. My parents were inside the stadium on Eurovision night, my grandparents watched my performance from home. They were crying with joy the whole time. My first phone call was to my grandma and grandpa who were in Australia,” Andrew Lambrou initially said.
He then commented: “My parents were in the stadium on Eurovision night, grandpa and my grandmother saw my appearance from home. They were crying with joy the whole time. My first phone call was to my grandmother and grandfather who were in Australia”.
