The leading Cypriot shooting athlete, Andri Eleftheriou, in two cases, two years apart, spoke about the sexual abuse she suffered – repeatedly – by a major player in the field of sports: in 2018 on a show by Elita Michailidou and at the end of 2020 again to Mrs. Michailidou, on the RIK show “Woman of Cyprus”. Neither the first time nor the second time did anyone sweat their ear. A commotion had to break out in Greece, after the revelations of Sofia Bekatorou (gold medalist in sailing), in order to shake the dirty waters in our place as well.
The interview took place after the complaint / deposition to the Police and was by phone, due to the restrictive measures for prevention and precaution by Covid-19.
