DISY's announcement for a provincial assembly in Kyrenia
The large provincial gatherings of the Democratic Alert continued today with the Kyrenia District, where in an atmosphere of optimism and enthusiasm the candidates for the European elections as well as for the Local Government elections in the District were presented.
The President of the Democratic Alarm, in an emotionally charged climate, noted that the reference to Kyrenia alone will always unite us, because as she said it is our conscience and our heart. “And it hurts us a lot that today we gather once again here in Nicosia, instead of our beloved Kyrenia.” The heart of the Democratic Alert, Mrs. Dimitriou additionally emphasized, will never stop beating loudly throughout Cyprus, from one end to the other, for our occupied land, until the day we achieve reunification, liberation, the free establishment in our countries. “After all, this is also the supreme purpose of our establishment, by our patriarch Glafkos Cleridis”.
Mrs. a living reminder that we are not allowed, not even for half a second, to forget.
Ms. Dimitriou also today gave the slogan of victory in the upcoming double elections in June, noting that the Democratic Alarm will continue with vigor and determination to claim for our refugee world and to constructively exercise its oppositional role with interventions, suggestions and proposals.
