Ghent took a strong lead to occupy the first place of the 2nd group of the Conference League in which Anorthosis participates.
The Belgian team passed Belgrade by a double, prevailing 1-0 over Partizan and making it 3/3, as a result of which it was at nine points and +3 by the Serbs, whom it hosts in its headquarters in two weeks.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 59th minute by Koums.
After the results of the 3rd match, the scene seems to be clear as from the moment that Anorthosis did not beat Flora, its chances are only mathematical as the realistic ones have virtually disappeared. The “Lady” and the Estonians have one point each, Partizan six and Ghent nine.
