At the exit door is the Portuguese
“Hot” is expected in the summer in Anorthosis, as given the Famagusta team there will be plenty of additions and subtractions. Antonio Prieto has already evaluated all the footballers on the roster, taking some important decisions.
Among other things, Marco Baisinho was left out of the plans, who, of course, did not live up to expectations. As is well known, the Portuguese stopper was acquired last summer as a free agent from Pasos Ferreira and although in most of the games he took the starting shirt… surely the people of the refugee club expected much more from him.
The 33-year-old defender he is bound by a contract until May 2024, however what seems to make the work of the technical managers at “Kyria” easier is that last year a release clause was set. Essentially, by paying the footballer an amount that is not at all prohibitive for the team's data… their cooperation will be able to be terminated.
So, as you can see, Baisinho leaving at the end of the season is something which at the moment seems to be the prevailing scenario, with the Portuguese defender… as everything seems to be on the list of footballers who will see the exit door in Anorthosis.
