Antigravity hill in Paphos creates an interesting visual illusion.
The anti-gravity hill of Cyprus is located near the village of Droussia on the west coast of the island between Paphos and Polis Chrysochous, more specifically – after the exit to Polis from Droussia.
An antigravity hill, also known as a magnetic hill, is a point where the arrangement of the surrounding earth produces a visual illusion, making a slight downward slope appear as an uphill slope.
Thus, if a car is left without speed on the road it will appear to be rolling against the weight of gravity and a ball may appear to be climbing the hill.
The slope of the hills of gravity is a visual illusion. The most important factor that contributes to the illusion is the lack of a clear horizon.
Without a horizon, it becomes difficult to judge the slope of a surface.
