A fire broke out last night in an apartment on Agiou Antoniou Street in Kato Paphos, according to Politis.com.cy correspondent Costa Nano.
The fire was caused by a short circuit in a faulty plug when the occupants tried to turn on an electric heater.
The maisonette was severely damaged by the fire. Residents managed to get out of their house in time while the fire brigade prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring houses.
