Like today, in 2016, APOEL beat AEK 2-0 in GSP, locking the championship of the 2015- season 16, two games before the end of the championship.

The blue and yellows posted the goal scored by Pieros Sotiriou and paved the way for the victory (s.s. the other goal was scored by Gianniotas with a penalty).
